|
| 一、OVERVIEW |
|
|
n nIO-Link is a standardized, serial, bi-directional point-to-point connection for signal transmission and power supply under any networks, fieldbuses, or backplane buses. The CCE4510 is a highly integrated IO-Link Master Phy IC providing two IO-Link compliant channels with 1A peak driving current. The built-in IO-Link hardware frame handler significantly improves application performance by automating most of the lower layer communication tasks. By reducing the micro controller load, CCE4510 frees up valuable processing bandwidth enabling developers to add greater value by running additional processor-intensive tasks without the need for higher performance micro controllers. Alternatively, developers can reduce system cost by using less capable micro controllers without reducing overall performance.
n nCCE4510 supports a wide supply voltage range from 8 to 32V with integrated over voltage detection as well as high current and temperature protection. Flexible configuration options are available with QFN48 7x7mm package.
n nCCE4510 provides the perfect solution for 2/4/8/16 port IO-Link master applications connecting IO-Link compliant industrial sensors and actuators.

| IO-Link Evaluation Boards |
n nIt is quick and easy to incorporate CCE4510 into an IO-Link system with the availability of a full
evaluation board.
| n | Four active channel IO-Link Master reference design using two CCE4510 controlled by a
single Cortex M3 processor |
| n | Controlled via USB Interface or SPI Port |
| n | Including 128 kbit EEPROM and four LED indicators |
| n | IO-Link Physical Layer test available |
| n | Compatible with CCE4502 evaluations boards providing an end-to-end system solution |
nGeneral Description
The CCE4510 is a high-voltage interface IC with overvoltage detection as well as high temperature
and high current protection, based upon a 0.35 μm HV-CMOS technology.
Typical applications are industrial sensors or actuators, which should support the IO-Link standard.
To improve the application performance, an integrated IO-Link frame handler is provided, which
automates most of the lower layer communication tasks. This reduces the microcontroller loads
significantly, thus gaining more performance for other tasks, even if slower microcontrollers are used.
A variety in fields of application is given by different packaging*
1 and configuration options.

CREATIVE CHIPS CCE4502
nnOur company is distributing and supporting CREATIVE CHIPS CCE4502 as follows: |
The CCE4502 is a highly integrated device-side IO-Link compliant transceiver IC. The built-in hardware based IO-Link frame handler provides full IO-Link protocol handling facilities making it simple to connect a host micro controller via the UART interface. The comprehensive function set includes LDOs and step down DC-DC converter, on chip oscillators and a user SPI interface for configuration and read back of fault indicators. The output stage provides overcurrent, reverse polarity and thermal protection and is tolerant to +/- 40V input. It is configurable as push-pull, open drain (PMOS or NMOS) or input only.
Package options include a 4mm x 4mm, 0.5mm pitch QFN with an addition option of a 2mm x 2.6mm, 0.5mm pitch WLCSP. These options make the CC4502 suitable for demanding industrial applications where power dissipation or space are highly important.
The CCE4502 transceiver is suitable for IO-Link Device applications and is compliant with the IO-Link interface and system specification Version 1.1.2 from July 2013 accessible via www.io-link.org.
For a complete end-to-end system solution, Dialog also provides CCE4510 two channel IO-Link Master Phy.
